What do Neuromodulators do?

Don’t let fine lines and wrinkles get in the way of smoother, glowing skin– BOTOX, DYSPORT & JEUVEAU are tested to be effective and safe for treatments to slow down the signs of aging.

These neuromodulators inhibit muscle movement, giving the appearance of smoother skin with the prevention and reduction of forehead lines, glabellar lines, crows feet & more.

Where can I get Tox?

Tox can be placed in:

  • Forehead

  • Glabella

  • Crows Feet

  • Masseter

  • Jelly Roll (undereye)

How can I prepare for Botox?

Before your treatment:

Avoid Blood thinners (Aspirin, Motrin/Aleve, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Turmeric, St Johns Wort & Ginkgo Biloba) for 7 days before treatment.

Avoid Tretinoin, Glycolic Acid, AHA, waxing, bleaching or hair removal cream at least 3 days prior to treatment.

Avoid alcohol and exercise 24 hr prior to reduce chance of bruising.

If you are prone to cold sores/herpes, please let your provider know.

You cannot receive Botox if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, allergic to lidocaine or have a neurological disease.

Tips to decrease bruising:

  • Drink fresh pineapple juice or take a Bromelain supplement (contains anti-inflammatory enzyme)

  • 1000mg Vit C AM & PM to help strengthen the walls of your blood vessels

  • Take Arnica supplements the week leading up to your appt— these are available online or at the Vitamin store.

What to expect?

Day of Treatment

Arrive to your appointment makeup free, we will cleanse your skin with antibacterial solution to start

We will walk you through the process, answer any questions and get started on the journey to a more confident you.

After your treatment

  • You may experience a mild to moderate amount of bruising/soreness for up to 2 weeks post treatment

  • Avoid makeup for 24 hrs after your treatment, to keep area clean

  • Do not lie down or bend over for 4 hours post treatment

  • No rubbing/massaging the area (2 weeks)

  • Avoid facial treatments, saunas and excessive heat for at least 48hr post treatment

  • No alcohol or exercise for 48 hrs after treatment

  • You may take Tylenol if you experience any discomfort

  • No facials, microneedling, dental visits (including cleanings) for 2 weeks post treatment

How long does Tox last?

Longevity of Tox will depend on your dosage.

Dosage = Duration !!

It is always recommended to go with the injectors preferred dose to achieve the optimal results. Your results will also depend on personal lifestyle (exercise, metabolism etc)
